Brand islands in Fortnite
Islands brands built in Fortnite Creative and UEFN — sports hubs, car showrooms, hotel worlds and sneaker hunts — with the results each one reported.

Brands appear in Fortnite in two ways. Collab skins are Epic's own products, sold in its Item Shop. Islands are playable maps a brand builds or commissions in Fortnite Creative or Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and publishes under Epic's rules. This collection lists the islands and leaves skins out.
Sport came first. Verizon's 5G Stadium served as Fortnite Creative's official hub during Super Bowl week in February 2021 and logged more than 40 million visits; the NBA and the NFL followed with hubs of their own. Car and fashion brands came next: BMW's Hypnopolis let players customise an iX2, and Nike's Airphoria sent them hunting for Air Max 'Grails'.
Results vary widely. Philips's Body Royale map logged 34,500 sessions, reported as 30 times the average for a custom map, and sales among men aged 18 to 30 rose 28% year on year. Marriott Bonvoy Land reported a 14% lift in brand consideration. At the other end, Airphoria lost about 90% of its concurrent players within a week, according to GEEIQ data.

Questions
Can brands make their own games in Fortnite?
Yes. A brand can build or commission an island in Fortnite Creative or UEFN and publish it through Epic's developer programme, under the same rules as any other creator. Players find islands through the Discover tab, search or an island code.
Can a brand run a sweepstakes in Fortnite?
Not inside the island. Under Epic's Fortnite Developer Rules, contests and sweepstakes must run entirely outside it, and islands may not carry links, QR codes or requests for personal data, so any prize draw has to run elsewhere.
Is a Fortnite collab skin the same as a brand island?
No. Skins, emotes and other cosmetics are Epic's products, sold in its Item Shop, and islands may not sell them. An island is a playable map. Campaigns often pair the two: the NBA's Welcome Hub arrived with outfits for all 30 teams.
Which brand islands can you still play?
Look for the Playable now label. At the latest check that included Carrefour's Jobs To Play and LEGO's Smoothie Odyssey; most brand islands ran for a campaign window and then closed.
