A public library
of playable marketing.
The Well Played Awards is a free, open catalogue of campaign games — games that brands commission to launch products, build loyalty and sell. 1,857 projects from 1,112 brands, 1996 to 2026, collected from award archives, platform showcases and studio portfolios. The whole archive is open: no account, no paywall, every filter is a link you can share.
What counts — and what doesn’t
We take: a game made for a brand as part of a campaign, with a business objective — a launch, loyalty, awareness, sales. Physical and event installations count when there is a real game mechanic.
We don’t take: WebGL experiments without a campaign, portals of games made for fun, beautiful interactive sites without a game mechanic, and mini-games buried inside a regular site.
Who decides
The editors do, against the criteria above. No placement on this site is paid — not the collections, not the featured rows, nothing.
How to take part
Three ways, none of which needs an account: submit a game (a link is enough — we research the rest ourselves), add a credit to a project your studio worked on, or write to us about a mistake.
Sources
The library is collected from public award archives (FWA, Awwwards, CSSDA, Webby, Communication Arts, Ads of the World, D&AD, The Clios), platform showcases and the portfolios of the studios themselves. Every card links to its source. Facts and figures in result blocks are verified against the sources; what we could not verify, we do not publish.
Images & removal
Screenshots and frames are used to document the work, in reduced form, with attribution and a link — the way an archive documents a campaign. If you hold the rights to a project and want something corrected or taken down, write to us and we will do it: library@wellplayedawards.com.
