Objective

Sweden's armed forces needed to fill recruitment quotas with candidates who had the right cognitive profile, not just enthusiasm. The old call to arms, "We need you," was swapped for a challenge aimed at the candidate: could they actually cut it?

Solution

Visitors are told upfront to put on headphones — a narrator's voice runs the whole test, and without sound there's no getting through it. From there the site walks the player through four timed mini-games in a row: one taxes multitasking, one checks spatial judgment, one tests memory, and one measures raw concentration under a ticking clock. Each round ends and rolls straight into the next with no way to skip ahead. After the fourth, the player gets a breakdown of how they scored on each skill and a verdict on whether their profile fits what the armed forces are looking for, with a link forward into recruitment for anyone who passes.

How it plays

6 steps
  1. 1

The player enters through the game's English-language version, where an upfront notice warns that sound is required; a voiceover then opens the session, explaining that a series of tests will follow to judge whether the player suits the armed forces.

  2. 2

The first test targets multitasking: the player must keep several parallel tasks running at once against a countdown timer.

  3. 3

The second test measures spatial reasoning, having the player work with visual shapes and judge how objects are oriented.

  4. 4

The third test is a memory challenge, where the player clicks through a set of cards and must recall their positions or contents.

  5. 5

The fourth and final test centers on concentration, closing out the run of cognitive challenges.

  6. 6

The game ends with a breakdown of the player's performance across all four tests and a verdict on fit; even weak results can still produce an encouraging message that steers the player toward military recruitment.
