Objective
Red Bull wanted a reason to be part of the moment at the bar table — something a group could argue over while they waited for the next round. Built with agency PopCorn 66, the game extends a running series (PopCorn Garage, PopCorn TV, Red Bull PlayHard, Red Bull Rap Jeu) that uses pop-culture trivia to reach young drinkers on their own turf.
Solution
There's nothing to install — the game opens straight in a phone's browser, right at the table. Each question fills the screen as a single card, and instead of tapping an answer from a list, the player swipes to choose. Cards slide into one another as the round of pop-culture questions plays out, building toward a final score. That score is the whole point: it's what the table compares notes on afterward, since Red Bull's own page frames the game as a bet over who's buying the next round.
Results
92,000 unique players across 482 participating bars.
- 1
The game opens as a mobile web page on Red Bull's site, playable straight from a phone at a bar table with no app to install; a start screen frames it as a pop-culture knowledge challenge and invites the player to begin.
- 2
Questions appear one at a time on pop-culture topics, each filling the full phone screen as its own card.
- 3
The player answers by swiping the card rather than tapping a list of choices; a finger drag sends the card flying off-screen.
- 4
The next card slides in with an animated transition, keeping the round moving without pauses between questions.
- 5
At the end of the round, the player checks their score against the others at the table, with the result framed as deciding who pays for the next round of drinks.
