Objective
Lacoste partnered with Roland Garros tennis championship to amplify brand engagement during the tournament. The playable marketing experience aimed to drive participation and interest in both the tennis event and Lacoste merchandise by offering tangible prizes including tournament tickets and branded merchandise to incentivize gameplay.
Solution
Merci-Michel developed a Space Invaders-style brick breaker game where players control a paddle to prevent tennis balls from exiting the court while destroying blocks across multiple levels. The game features three lives, progressive difficulty scaling, and power-ups including defensive shields, multi-ball mechanics, and laser attacks. Built with WebGL and Three.js, the experience delivers authentic 3D clay court visuals with particle effects and sound design. Playable on both desktop and mobile, the game offers Roland Garros tournament tickets and signed Lacoste polo shirts as prizes, with Lacoste members receiving double chances to win. QR codes placed at in-stadium displays provided direct access to the game.
