Objective
Casino 2000's live-entertainment venue was underperforming next to its gaming floor, restaurants and bars: regulars kept feeding slot machines and filling tables but rarely bought tickets for the concerts and theatre shows happening in the same building. The casino needed a way to pull that existing crowd toward its shows and, in the process, capture first-party contact data it could reuse for future promotions.
Solution
A player clicks through from a Casino 2000 email or the casino's website and lands on a short sign-up form. After entering their details, they're shown a wheel dressed up for the venue and the specific artist whose show is coming next, and they spin. The result — win or lose — shows immediately, with one VIP winner selected each day the wheel runs. Prizes range up to free tickets for the show being promoted. The same format was relaunched seven times, each time re-skinned for a different act.
Results
Across seven campaign runs, the wheel drew 13,500 interactions and a 90% completion rate among those who registered — meaning nearly everyone who started the form saw it through to the spin. Over 2,000 VIP prizes, including free show tickets, were given out across the campaigns.
- 1
The player arrives at a branded promo page through a casino email or website banner, styled to match Casino 2000's identity and the artist or show the current campaign is tied to; the page announces that one winner is picked each day.
- 2
Before playing, the player fills out a form with their contact details; the wheel is inaccessible until the form is submitted.
- 3
The player reaches a wheel divided into prize segments, then spins it by pressing a button or dragging and releasing its edge (touch or mouse).
- 4
The wheel slows and stops on a segment, which instantly reveals a win or a loss on screen.
- 5
A winning spin earns free tickets to the campaign's upcoming event or another VIP prize; one participant is rewarded per day, and the promo screen doubles as a reminder of the show itself.
