Objective
Psycho Bunny created PB Rush to activate their presence at the 2026 F1 Miami Grand Prix with an interactive entertainment experience. The branded racing game was designed to drive foot traffic to their pop-up retail and activation booth, encouraging repeat engagement throughout the event weekend while reinforcing the brand's modern, playful identity.
Solution
PB Rush is an 8-bit pixel-art arcade racing game where players compete on four networked cabinets connected to a shared leaderboard. The track mirrors the actual Miami Grand Prix circuit, with live position tracking and a competitive element highlighting the top 8 race times. The game features hand-pixeled visuals in Psycho Bunny's signature magenta palette and original chiptune music, built with the Phaser framework. Winners of the fastest times at the event's conclusion received a cash prize. The game was later adapted into a standalone iPad version and was playable at Psycho Bunny's Miami retail locations during the activation.
Results
The game's competitive leaderboard and cash prize for the best time motivated players to return for multiple runs throughout the weekend, with participants continuously returning for additional attempts to improve their standings.
