Objective
Mattel Digital Studios wanted to move UNO's physical, tabletop appeal into the digital worlds where younger fans already spend their time, building games on Mattel IP that keep those fans engaged over the long run. For UNO specifically, that meant turning a game people already know into something built for Roblox — real-time and physical rather than turn-based — with a parallel version launching on Fortnite the same day, as part of a broader platform push that already included Barbie Dreamhouse Tycoon, Monster High and He-Man Heroes.
Solution
Players drop into a bright arena split into two teams of up to 14, and there's no waiting for a turn — everyone's moving from the first second. Before the match starts, each player picks a loadout of wild powers, then scrambles across the map to grab UNO cards, laying them down in matching colors or numbers to build a bridge across the gap to the center. Whoever gets there first grabs the Golden UNO Card and starts running it back to base while the other team tries to stop them — firing a boxing-glove rocket that sends rivals flying and knocks the cards out of their hands, summoning a tornado, or turning an opponent into a slow-moving zombie, while teammates hand out speed boots or a shield to push through. Every 30 seconds a random mutator kicks in and bends the rules for the next half-minute, so no two bridge runs play out the same way. A round wraps in about 10 minutes, as soon as the Golden Card makes it home.
Results
UNO: Bridge Clash drew 1 million players in its first month, with women and girls making up 55% of the audience. As of September 28, 2026, the Roblox experience had logged 4,738,769 visits and 85,764 favorites, a lifetime peak of 1,604 concurrent players, and an average session length of 10 minutes, with an 84.7% approval rating (7,140 likes to 1,287 dislikes).
- 1
Players launch UNO: Bridge Clash from its Roblox experience page and join a match on a server of up to 14 players, split into one of two teams that each defend a base on opposite sides of the arena.

- 2
Before a round, players assemble a loadout of WILD powers to bring into the match, drawing new abilities from Power Packs; the loadout can be changed between games.
- 3
Once a round starts, players run through an obstacle-filled arena collecting UNO cards as building material, limited by a carrying capacity capped at 12 cards by default.
- 4
At the edge of a central chasm, players build a bridge toward the arena's middle by placing cards according to UNO's own matching rule of color or number, turning the card game's logic into a construction mechanic.
- 5
Bridge-building happens in real time rather than in turns, with teammates splitting between extending the span, crossing it, and defending it at the same time.
- 6
Players can fire a Boxing Glove Rocket at opponents, knocking them back and scattering the cards they are carrying.
- 7
Players also trigger WILD powers from their loadout, including a tornado that destroys an enemy bridge, an effect that turns opponents into slow zombies, speed-boosting boots, a shield that protects teammates from attacks, and an effect called The Disco.
- 8
Every 30 seconds a mutator activates for the following 30 seconds and changes the rules for everyone: "+4" adds four cards to carrying capacity, "Skip" disables powers, and "Whirlwind Frenzy" sends vortexes across the arena that hunt bridges and players.
- 9
Reaching the arena's center lets a player grab the Gold UNO Card and race it back to their own base while the opposing team tries to blow up the bridge beneath them or intercept the card; the first team to deliver the Gold Card to its base wins the match.
- 10
Players can optionally buy a single VIP game pass for 249 Robux.
