Objective

Cdiscount's TV campaign, running since November 2025 under the line "Des prix bas qui ont de la voix," needed a way to hold audiences past the ad break, so the retailer turned its campaign mascot and slogan into the brand's first-ever video game. Levels double as a soft tutorial, working services like four-installment payments, express delivery, big-name brands and low prices into the game itself as collectible bonuses. The game also feeds a branded prize draw, giving Cdiscount a reason to keep pulling traffic back to its site and social channels.

Solution

Players reach the game from its own site, from cdiscount.com, or from Cdiscount's social pages, then take control of Max, the campaign's megaphone-carrying mascot, as he runs through a Cdiscount warehouse. On desktop they steer with keyboard or mouse, on mobile with touch, timing jumps over boxes, pallets and forklifts while scooping up blue points and megaphone icons along the way. The score is currency, not just a number: crossing any of 20 thresholds between 100 and 10,000 points unlocks a matching prize, and every point earned also counts as an entry into the sweepstakes. A run plays out over 20 consecutive levels, and players can replay as many times as they want, any day, to push their score higher and bank more entries.

How it plays

9 steps
  1. 1

The player opens a dedicated campaign site, watches a loading screen, and may see a banner noting the linked sweepstakes has ended (the game itself still runs). The title screen shows Max, the brand's megaphone-wielding mascot, surrounded by real prizes, promising that dodging obstacles and catching megaphones turns the score into gifts; one red button starts the run.

  2. 2

The run begins immediately on tapping start, with no separate control-selection screen: the player taps or holds the space bar to make Max jump, holding longer for a long jump, as he auto-runs through a Cdiscount warehouse.

  3. 3

While running, the player jumps over warehouse obstacles and collects floating pastilles scattered along the path, which accumulate into the score.

  4. 4

A red megaphone appears as a distinct, harder-to-catch collectible near the end of the run, the game's signature pickup.

  5. 5

Brand-benefit icons (fast shipping, pay-in-4, big brands, low prices) surface along the track and each acts as a bonus that adds to the score when collected.

  6. 6

The run plays out across 20 consecutive, increasingly difficult levels, and ends the moment Max hits an obstacle.

  7. 7

After a run ends, a results screen offers to restart immediately, view the prize list, or jump to the retailer's online store, with legal terms linked below.

  8. 8

A sliding panel reveals a point-threshold ladder of prizes, from a 100-point megaphone up through electronics and furniture to a 10,000-point grand prize (about 20 tiers total, including a trip); thresholds already reached are highlighted and the rest stay dimmed until the score catches up.

  9. 9

The score earned in a run converts into entries toward a sweepstakes draw, with higher scores granting more entries; the game can be replayed daily to improve the score and accumulate additional entries.
