Objective
Google Chrome for Enterprise was the premier sponsor of the 2023 Bloomberg Technology Summit and needed to make the case for browser security to a room of corporate IT and business leaders without falling back on another sales booth. The brand wanted a break-time experience attendees would actually remember, one built around a pointed question: are we doing enough to protect our data from security threats?
Solution
Up to four attendees step up to a large touchscreen table inside a pop-up pavilion on the show floor. Each player steers a stylized Chrome browser window across a field that fills with file and service icons, swiping away threats that creep in from every side and keep multiplying as the clock runs. Each round lasts 30 seconds, and the four players' scores combine into one team total. Top teams see their name posted on a 20-foot LED wall alongside a live leaderboard, plus cybersecurity facts and stats tied to the threats they just fought off.
Results
600 games were played in a single day at an event with fewer than 400 attendees.
- 1
A brightly colored pavilion at the conference draws attendees in; a wall panel explains Google Chrome for Enterprise and prints the rules up front, with no host or tutorial screen. Up to four players gather around a large touch table, one per side.

- 2
Each player presses their own join button on the table, and their play area shows a "Ready" state while the round is about to start.

- 3
The round fills each player's field with a sea of company file and service icons under threat. Each player drags a stylized Chrome browser window across their zone, using it to catch incoming threats and tap them to neutralize them, in a whac-a-mole-style loop where neutralized threats explode and new ones arrive faster and denser as the round goes on.

- 4
Each round lasts 30 seconds; a player's individual score combines with the other three players' scores into one shared team total, rewarding coordinated play over solo scoring.

- 5
A 20-foot LED wall beside the table reacts live to the match and displays the running score.
- 6
When time runs out, the team sees its final score and enters a team name to post it to the conference-wide leaderboard, where top teams stay listed as a target for others to beat.
- 7
Between rounds, players can take a separate quiz built from Chrome Enterprise cybersecurity data.

- 8
Leaving the pavilion, players pass a projection wall showing statistics and questions about the cybersecurity risks businesses face daily.
