Objective
Fiat wanted to put its redesigned Uno hatchback in front of young Brazilian buyers ahead of the car's launch — not with another ad, but with a game they'd actually choose to play. A mobile arcade title let the brand court that audience on its own turf.
Solution
You take the wheel of the new Uno — except this Uno flies. Tilt or tap to steer it upward through a cityscape that keeps generating as you go, threading gaps and obstacles instead of racing a track. There's no finish line: the run ends when you crash or run out of road, and your distance becomes your score. From there the game turns social — you check your total against friends' scores and go back up for another attempt to beat them.
- 1
The player opens the app on iPhone or iPad and takes control of Uno, an ordinary city hatchback recast as a flying vehicle; piloting it through the air is the entire premise.
- 2
The player steers the flying Uno through a stream of levels that never stops, chaining stage after stage in an endless run whose only goal is to last longer and rack up a higher score.
- 3
The player's score becomes a challenge thrown at friends, since the game centers on comparing results against other players rather than completing a fixed campaign.
