Objective
Riding the Winter X Games Europe buzz that Tignes had hosted since 2010, the resort wanted to raise awareness among prospective visitors and cast itself as an edgy, rock-'n'-roll destination for extreme winter sport. The push doubled as lead generation: entering the prize draw required creating an account, and the prizes themselves — a car pickup and a trip — were built to pull registrants back to the resort.
Solution
The site opens on a stadium-like screen built around a big central video window; arrows let you flip through a carousel of five mini-games, including one called Frozen Lake, and a round START button drops you into a live-action clip shot on location at the resort — frozen lake, water park slide and all. As the footage plays, on-screen arrow prompts (left, up, right) pop up over the video for you to tap in time, a progress bar tracks your position from start to finish, and a scoreboard beneath the screen tallies your points. Finish the run and a reaction clip plays back your result along with the final score. Throughout, a bottom bar keeps two things constantly in view: a prompt to register, and a rising ladder of chances — 1, 2, 4, 8 — tied to the prizes on offer, a Nissan Juke and a week at Tignes with friends during Winter X Games Europe. The page also offers Facebook sharing, a sound toggle, French/English switching, and rules and prizes sections.
- 1
The player lands on an arena-style hub built around a large central video window, with the Tignes Winter Madness title and a Tignes logo overhead. Chevron arrows on either side let the player flip through a carousel of five games, each previewed as a titled video still shot on location, such as icy 'Frozen Lake' lettering over a snowy slope.
- 2
A round START button on the preview launches the selected game, while a red call-to-action button beneath the window names its core move (e.g. 'Dive Under') and sits next to a Facebook icon for sharing.
- 3
A footer bar invites the player to register in order to qualify for the prize draw, with a separate link for players who already have an account; without registering, play does not count toward the giveaway.
- 4
The hub also shows a chances ladder (1, 2, 4, 8 chances) tracking how many draw entries the player has banked, alongside a rotating panel advertising the two main prizes: a Nissan Juke and a week in Tignes for six during the Winter X Games Europe.
- 5
Once started, the video window switches to first-person, live-action footage filmed at the resort — sliding down a water-park chute, diving under lake ice, and similar stunts — with three circular arrow prompts (left, up, right) surfacing over the footage for the player to tap in time with the action.
- 6
A progress bar tracks how much of the run remains between START and END, a red LED-style counter beneath the window tallies points as they accrue, and a HOME button lets the player exit to game selection at any point.
- 7
Each run closes with a short reaction video and a frozen final score on the counter.
- 8
That score converts into draw chances, and the player can replay a game to push for a higher score or work through the remaining four games to stack up more chances — the more they play, the more they can win.

A footer menu holds Credits, Rules and Legal Mentions, plus a sound on/off toggle, a prize list, and an FR/EN language switch.
