Objective
Boucheron's Quatre ring was turning 20, and the collection was already the house's global bestseller and its top performer in Asia, so the anniversary had to land in every key market at once. The brand needed a way to teach a worldwide audience what its four signature bands actually mean without resorting to an editorial product page. A playable piece let people spend minutes with the ring's heritage from anywhere, no travel or store visit required, ahead of the pop-ups and campaign rolling out through the year.
Solution
The player opens the site on desktop or mobile and moves straight into the first mini-game, no menu or instructions screen in the way. Clearing it drops them into the next short challenge, then the next, in an unbroken run of more than ten quick interactions built around the ring itself. Each stretch is built around one of the ring's four signature bands, so as the player taps, drags and matches their way through, they're handling close-up renders of the actual motifs — the woven grosgrain texture, the diamond line, the pin-striped Clou de Paris pattern, the double-twist Godron edge — and different versions of the ring, from the Classique to the Double White and Black editions, appear as the objects in play. There's no score to chase or fail state to worry about: the session just keeps moving forward until the last mini-game closes it out and hands the player back to the brand's site.
- 1
The player opens a market version of the site (for example /us or /sg_en) directly in the browser, with nothing to install and no sign-up; a preloader tracks the loading of the 3D assets before the title screen appears with the campaign image, the Boucheron wordmark, and a single floating 3D ring. The run then starts on its own, dissolving into the first chapter without the player choosing a game from a menu.
- 2
The first house code, Grosgrain, opens with a chapter card and a task briefing framed inside the octagonal outline of the Quatre band; the mini-game that follows has the player clicking 3D rings of different editions as they tumble down the screen, with more rings falling from more angles as it goes on. The octagon at the centre doubles as a progress bar, drawn in stroke by stroke as rings are caught, and the code is cleared once the octagon closes fully around a caught ring.

- 3
A second mini-game for the same code fills the screen with a tiled grid of identical rings and asks the player to spot the one whose band is a different colour; each correct pick reshuffles the grid and advances the octagonal progress bar until it closes.

- 4
A third mini-game turns the collection into a kaleidoscope of mirrored ring and campaign-image fragments that the player drags to rotate and re-cut, tightening the pattern toward the jewel at its centre as the octagon fills. Every mini-game in the run is timed: if a round isn't finished before the clock runs out, the octagon turns into a "TIME'S UP" card over the frozen pattern and the run moves on to the next chapter rather than blocking the player.

- 5
The second house code, Diamond Line, gets its own chapter card and a timing mini-game: rings slide across the top of the screen and the player has to release each one at the right instant to land it on a growing stack, with an accurate click adding a band and advancing the progress bar while a mistimed one costs the ring.

- 6
The remaining two house codes, Clou de Paris and Double Godron, follow the same pattern of a chapter card and mini-games, each paired with a note on what the code means in the house's history; across the full run the player works through more than ten mini-games and interactions, handling real 3D editions of the collection including the Quatre Classique, the Double White Edition, and the Black Edition.
- 7
Having decoded all four codes, the player reaches a closing screen where the whole ring is presented and a link to the collection is offered.
- 8
The experience is responsive, playing the same run on both desktop and mobile with the interactions reworked for touch.
