Objective
Neurobrands relaunched Neuro under the 'Light It Up' platform to explain, in plain terms, how the drink's functional benefits actually work. Y&R California needed a way to bring that message into the moment that mattered most: the Walgreens shelf, where a shopper was already deciding what to buy.
Solution
A shopper spots a QR code on the shelf display and scans it with their phone, no app download required. The scan drops them straight into a bowling game in their mobile browser, styled after the store's own aisle. They roll the ball down the lane toward the pins, aiming for a strike. A win converts into a coupon on screen, which the shopper then shows at the register to redeem on the spot, in the same visit.
- 1
The game launches when a shopper scans a QR code posted near the Neuro display in a Walgreens store, opening a browser-based bowling game on their phone at neurobowl.com with no app download required.

- 2
The core mechanic is a bowling roll, with the game framing the lane as the store aisle the shopper is standing in, tying the play metaphor to the physical Walgreens location.
- 3
A winning result yields a digital coupon, which the shopper redeems at the same Walgreens checkout toward a Neuro purchase.
