Objective

Sanyo Bussan built the site to give visitors a reason to stick around on a pachinko-machine maker's brand domain: play, don't just browse, and get rewarded for it. Beyond that play-for-prizes premise, no brief, target audience, or business objective survives in the record.

Solution

The visitor arrives from Sanyo Bussan's own site into a matsuri-themed campaign page built around the maker's marine imagery. Rather than clicking through product pages, they open and play a set of browser games hosted on the site itself. Finishing a round earns a "special prize" that the site hands out on the spot. The exact games, their number, and the prize mechanics don't survive in any recoverable source — the only capture that could be pulled up is a static, image-only entry screen that never exposes the actual gameplay.

How it plays

2 steps
  1. 1

The player arrives at the Marine Matsuri campaign site, hosted on Sanyo Bussan's own domain, where the site offers playable games in the browser instead of standard product information.

  2. 2

The core loop is playing these games; completing sessions earns "special prizes" that the campaign distributes as rewards for play.
