Objective
Supermarchés Match, a French supermarket chain, needed a promotional hook to drive traffic and loyalty across its stores in the Grand Est and Hauts-de-France regions. It ran an instant-win operation built around the retailer's own core category, offering shoppers the chance to win months of free fruit and vegetables — a prize designed to pull winners straight back into the aisles. No brief, KPI or budget documentation survives beyond that intent.
Solution
The player lands on the campaign site and is greeted with the prize on offer: up to six months of free fruit and vegetables. They fill in a short form with their personal details to enter, then move straight to a virtual scratch card. Using the mouse like a coin, they rub away the ticket's surface to uncover the symbols hidden underneath. As soon as the ticket is clear, the result appears on screen — win or lose, revealed on the spot. The whole visit is a single pass: register, scratch, find out.
- 1
The player lands on Supermarchés Match's special-operation page, where the offer is stated upfront: play for a chance to win up to six months of free fruit and vegetables.
- 2
The player registers with personal information, which unlocks access to the scratch ticket.
- 3
A virtual scratch ticket appears on screen; the player drags the mouse across its coating to rub it away and reveal the hidden area beneath, mimicking a physical scratch card.
- 4
Once the ticket is fully uncovered, the outcome is shown immediately: the player either wins a Supermarchés Match prize — up to six months of free fruit and vegetables — or comes away empty-handed.
