Objective

E.Leclerc runs an annual beer fair across its hypermarket network, and wanted an online counterpart worth a shopper's time — something that would introduce the range in its beer cellar and pull people toward the prizes tied to the in-store promotion. The game gave the seasonal fair a digital storefront rather than just an aisle display.

Solution

The player drops into one enormous, deliberately oddball illustrated brewery and simply explores it — panning and zooming across rooftops, vats, and animated workers going about their business. There's no path to follow, just the scene itself: the job is to spot and click on hidden "brewer's cards" tucked into the artwork's corners and gags. Every card found gets added to a running collection, and completing the full set closes out the hunt and unlocks entry into E.Leclerc's prize draw. The experience scales down for smaller screens — tablets get the same brewery with the animations switched off, while phones split it into three separate panels the player swipes between instead of roaming freely.

How it plays

7 steps
  1. 1

Before entering the game, the player passes an age-verification screen, required for French alcohol promotions.

  2. 2

A loading screen appears first, since the game's illustrations and frame-by-frame animations are heavy; the interface and an initial animation package load before play begins, with the rest streaming in afterward.

  3. 3

The game opens on a single large illustrated scene, an eccentric, detailed brewery spanning the full width of the screen, populated with animated characters and moving machinery; the player explores it by scrolling across the artwork rather than moving through separate levels.

  4. 4

The core loop is a hidden-object search: the player scans the crowded scene for hidden "brewer menus" tucked among the details and clicks to collect each one found.

  5. 5

Collected cards accumulate in a running tally, and the player must locate every card in the scene to complete the collection.

  6. 6

Completing the full collection unlocks a prize tied to the retailer's annual beer fair promotion.

  7. 7

On tablet the same scene appears with its animations removed to keep performance smooth, while on smartphone the brewery is split into three separate sections that the player switches between instead of scrolling freely.
