Objective
Groupe Atlantic, France's largest HVAC manufacturer, needed its whole distribution chain — installers, retailers, end customers and its own staff — to understand and champion its new low-carbon product lines. A one-off campaign couldn't reach every link in that B2B2C chain, so the brand ran a standing calendar of game experiences instead, one built to keep each audience coming back and learning as new products rolled out.
Solution
Each audience gets its own route through a chain of linked mini-games rather than a single screen. A visitor might start with a quick quiz on a low-carbon feature, answering multiple-choice questions to keep going; move to a sliding puzzle that pops up a product fact card every time a piece locks into place; then finish on a casual arcade level — in one version, a Pac-Man-style chase where a technician with a wrench dodges ghosts through a maze of collectible parts instead of dots. Points earned across the whole route feed one shared leaderboard, and the top three players win $100 gift certificates. Over the December holidays, the format switches to an advent calendar: one door opens each day for a chance at an instant prize, pulling people back day after day.
Results
The program logged 66,791 engagements across experiences aimed at tradespeople, retailers, customers, and employees, with an average 89% engagement rate across campaigns.
- 1
The player enters a branded route assembled for their segment — installer, retail dealer, end customer, or company employee — made up of several game blocks played back to back rather than a single game.
- 2
One block is a quiz: the player answers questions about the brand's products, picking up facts about its new low-carbon heating and climate solutions along the way.
- 3
Another block is a jigsaw puzzle: as the player assembles the image, pop-up windows appear over the board with product information, delivering the educational copy between moves.
- 4
A third block is a casual arcade game built on a Pac-Man-style chase: the player steers a worker holding a wrench around a maze, dodging enemies and collecting branded items tied to energy use and the company's equipment.
- 5
The blocks run one after another as levels on a single route, with brand messaging surfacing between stages as the player advances toward the end.
- 6
Points from every block combine into one running score shown on a leaderboard, and the player can replay to climb their ranking against other participants.
- 7
At the end of the season, the top three players on the leaderboard win $100 gift certificates.
- 8
A separate seasonal variant is a Christmas advent calendar: the player opens a new window each day for an instant-win game, drawing them back to the campaign daily through the end of December.
