Objective
Wayward Creative built the game for TWIN XL and The Orchard to promote the single "Slow Heart" and its music video, pulling fans into the video's story and giving them a reason to spend more time with the track than a single listen allows. The in-game soundtrack streams live from Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL and YouTube, so every play session doubles as a push toward the single's streaming numbers.
Solution
The player takes the wheel of a classic El Camino, hauling singer Cameron's coffin through a nighttime Los Angeles on the way to his funeral, retracing the route from the "Slow Heart" video. While driving, they steer around obstacles and collect hearts scattered along the road to keep Cameron's heartbeat going, all while fending off a chase of vampires. The soundtrack isn't a packaged audio file but a live feed from Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL or YouTube, so the run plays out to whichever version of the song the platform serves up. The game runs straight in the browser at its own address, slowheartgame.com, with nothing to download or install.
- 1
The player enters the game at its own dedicated domain, slowheartgame.com, rather than through a label page or release landing page — the address the band itself pointed fans to.

- 2
The scene recreates the band's music video: a nighttime drive through Los Angeles in a classic El Camino, with the coffin of singer Cameron secured in the bed of the truck.

- 3
The player takes the wheel and drives the El Camino down the road, with the stated goal of getting Cameron to his funeral in one piece.
- 4
While driving, the player grabs hearts scattered along the route to keep Cameron's heartbeat from dropping, and swerves to avoid vampires that appear along the way, since a collision ends the run.
- 5
New music from the band plays throughout the drive, streamed live into the game from Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, and YouTube.
