Objective
Dodge used the app to put its refreshed 2015 line-up — Charger, Challenger, and later Dart, Journey and Durango — into people's hands as a playable object rather than a brochure, letting AR placement and interior views stand in for a showroom visit. Building and racing each car gave owners a reason to learn its features and kept them coming back for the next model.
Solution
The player picks a 2015 Dodge model, repaints it, swaps the wheels, and reads feature callouts pointing out the shaker hood, the engine, the new lights. Pointing the phone at a real driveway drops the finished car into it at full scale, so the player can walk around it, zoom into the details, and climb into the driver's seat to look around the cabin. That same build then goes straight to the track: circuit, city and coastal courses (one hiding a secret off-road path), racing against AI opponents with driving assists that let anyone finish a lap. Clearing races and hitting achievements unlocks the next Dodge model to configure and race in turn.

The player opens the app and selects one of the 2015 Dodge models on offer — Charger, Challenger, Dart, Journey or Durango — with the rest of the line-up unlocked through later play.

In the configurator, the player taps through callouts explaining the car's features, such as the engine, lighting and shaker hood, then customizes the vehicle by choosing a new paint colour and swapping the wheels.

Switching to augmented reality, the player points the phone's camera at a real location to place the configured car there at full size, then walks around and zooms in to inspect its exterior detailing.

The player can also move into the driver's seat and look around the car's interior in AR.

The same customized car carries over to the racing mode, where the player picks a circuit, city or coastal course and races against AI opponents, with driving assists available for beginners and a secret off-road path to find on newer tracks.

Race results feed an achievement system the player can track and share, which also unlocks further cars from the Dodge line-up for configuring and driving.
