Objective
Sony Pictures Animation used the film's official site to keep families engaged with Arthur Christmas through the 2011 holiday release window, giving visitors — including iPad users with no app to install — a reason to spend time in the film's world before and during its theatrical run.
Solution
The player looks down into Santa's workshop, where wrapped presents stream in along a conveyor belt at the top of the screen while a row of delivery chutes waits below. Between the belt and the chutes sit yellow gate-arrows, and the player taps or clicks them to switch each track so the incoming gift rolls into its matching chute. Presents arrive faster and faster, so a session is a race to keep sorting correctly; a miss sends a gift to the wrong chute, and the run ends once the player can no longer keep pace, with a score reflecting how many packages they routed correctly. The game sat alongside other mini-games on the film's site, playable directly in the browser with no download or app-store step.
- 1
The game opens inside Santa's workshop, where the player watches wrapped gifts travel along an overhead conveyor belt toward a row of chutes at the bottom of the screen.

- 2
Yellow gate-arrows sit at branch points along the belt; tapping a gate flips its direction, and the player uses this to steer each gift through the right sequence of branches into the chute that matches it.
- 3
Delivering a gift to its matching chute scores points, and the objective is to route as many gifts as possible to rack up a higher score.
- 4
Gifts arrive in a constant, uninterrupted stream, forcing the player to flip several gates in quick succession to keep pace with the workshop's rush.
- 5
From the game, the player can jump to the film site's other minigames, including Present Wrapping, Snowball Fight, Letter to Arthur, and Spot the Difference.
