Chex turned its cereal packaging into a game platform, shipping Chex Quest as a full PC title built with Digital Café instead of a toy prize. The CD-ROM reached roughly 5.7 million cereal boxes and lifted incremental volume 295% during its six-week run. Chex Quest HD later brought the original back to a teen audience as an in-game release.
