evian wanted to tell the story of its water — the alpine source and the natural cycle that shapes it — without relying on another brand film, and to keep the brand top-of-mind by tying that origin story to the broader conversation around hydration.
Solution
The game opens straight in the browser at truesource.evian.com, no download or install. The player runs forward automatically through a shifting alpine landscape, tapping or swiping to steer around rocks and obstacles while scooping up droplets of water along the route. Each obstacle dodged and drop collected pushes the run further along evian's journey from Alpine spring to bottled water. A run ends when the player hits an obstacle or reaches the end of the course, inviting another attempt to beat their distance.
