At launch, the game shows a promotional banner inviting the player into the Sber event; tapping its button plots a route across the city to the nearest Sber branch. A Sber icon pins to the interface, opening a panel with the event's rules, prize list, and progress bar in one tap at any time.
- 2
En route, the city itself is branded: Sber billboards and bus-stop ads line the streets, and a 3D Sber logo installation stands at the center of the map.
- 3
The player arrives at a virtual Sber branch modeled on a real office, complete with facade, signage, and interior, and talks to a uniformed Sber employee NPC inside. The NPC offers a choice between two missions, Money From Sber (Autoquest) and Buyer's Choice; the choice is final until the chosen mission is completed.
- 4
In Autoquest, the player takes the wheel of a loaned armored cash-transit van and works through four minigames — plotting a route around blocked roads, spotting faulty security-camera feeds, matching colored wires, and picking the real transaction from decoys three times running. Each minigame pays virtual money toward a progress bar and then locks behind a cooldown; quitting early forfeits the attempt and still triggers the cooldown. Filling the progress bar converts the loaned van into a permanent addition to the player's garage.
- 5
In Buyer's Choice, the player receives a lump sum of in-game currency and must visit four clothing stores in a fixed order, buying one item from a specific NPC at each stop. Completing all four purchases unlocks a unique cosmetic outfit — a business suit with diamond-accented shoes and accessories.
- 6
A Sber app appears on the player's in-game tablet at any time, showing account balances, transaction history, in-game transfers and bill payments, and the event's rules and progress; it works offline.
- 7
A branded button lets the player step outside the game: choosing "Get a car" sends them to Sber's real landing page, where they apply for an actual Sber debit card or subscription. The application then waits up to 48 hours for confirmation.
- 8
Once confirmed, the corresponding reward appears in the event panel and is claimed with one tap — an Aurus Senat Convertible for the debit card, or an Aurus Komendant for the subscription. These cars have brake lights that project the Sber or SberPrime logo onto the road, marking the player publicly in the open world.
- 9
All event prizes and progress remain visible in the event panel, and both stay with the player after the event ends, carrying over unreset into later runs of the integration.
Objective
Sber wanted to drive sign-ups for its debit card by meeting a young, game-first audience inside entertainment they already spend hours in, rather than through banner ads. Building the bank into Grand Mobile's live economy let it demonstrate everyday functions — transfers, bill pay, balance tracking — in a setting players already trust, reaching an audience ВЦИОМ puts at roughly 40% of Russians who play or have played online games.
Solution
Roaming Grand Mobile's open city, players run into a full-scale Sber branch built right into the map, staffed by an NPC banker in uniform, with Sber billboards, bus-stop ads, and a 3D logo installation scattered around town. Approaching it opens the "Money from Sber" storyline, which splits into two paths: an armored-truck heist run with four mini-games, or a shopping spree that earns the player's character SberCoins. A "Sber" button in the HUD opens a banking app on the character's in-game tablet, showing balances, transaction history, transfers, bill payments, and progress through the event. Tapping through to sign up for a real SberCard or SberPrime subscription unlocks a limited-edition Aurus car in-game, its brake lights projecting the Sber logo onto the road as it drives.
