Objective
Pal's Sudden Service ran an app whose only job was displaying nutrition facts — a utility screen fans opened once and forgot. The chain wanted to turn that dead real estate into an ongoing reason to keep the app installed, in keeping with its promise to "bring surprise and delight to fans."
Solution
Fans grab a single smart link shared on Pal's social channels, which routes them to the App Store or Google Play automatically, and the download lands as a new mode inside the existing Pal's app rather than a separate install. Opening it drops the player into a game built around Pal's own characters and branding. As they play through it, Pal's menu items and product details surface inside the action itself — spotted and picked up mid-session — instead of being parked on a separate info page. There's no toggling back to a reference screen: the nutrition facts the app used to just list are now something players run into as they go.
Results
The game drew 10,000 downloads in its first week after launch.
