Objective

Okko (Russian esports streaming platform) and Samokat (food delivery service) aimed to engage hardcore gamers during major esports tournaments by creating a gamified ecosystem that cross-promoted both platforms. The goal was to increase service usage frequency and drive purchases through interactive gameplay mechanics integrated with live tournament viewing.

Solution

Prize Catch (Prizohvat) was a cosmic-themed Telegram Mini App where users earned tokens by completing cross-platform tasks: watching esports broadcasts on Okko and browsing Samokat product collections. The core mechanic was a 15-second arcade claw-machine game to extract prize capsules. A seasonal Battle Pass system unlocked eligibility for physical prizes. The mini-app featured 30 unique daily tasks with custom icons, Japanese-inspired aesthetic with alien cat mascot, and narrative framing as 'Parallel Universe 2520.' Visuals dynamically changed based on tournament type (CS2 vs Dota 2). The campaign ran for 6 months across three major tournaments: ESL Pro League S22, Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2025, and DreamLeague S27.

Results

Specific performance metrics for the Samokat Prizohvat campaign were not published. No concrete numbers were disclosed regarding participants, engagement time, or Samokat order conversion.
