Objective

Lenovo needed to introduce the Vibe A7010 to Chile's youth market and chose to do it through voices that audience already trusted, rather than a straight spec pitch. Two popular Chilean YouTubers, Panchoso and Típico Shileno, fronted the launch, turning it into a story worth following instead of an ad worth skipping.

Solution

The story starts on social media, where Panchoso and Típico Shileno needle each other in public posts until the beef spills onto Lenovo's campaign page. There the feud becomes a game the player can settle personally: a browser-based fighting game with no app to install, where the player controls virtual versions of both YouTubers and sets them against each other in a one-on-one street brawl. The match plays out to a finish, built to be shared back into the same feeds where the fight started.

How it plays

3 steps
  1. 1

The campaign starts outside the game itself: two well-known Chilean YouTubers, Panchoso and Típico Shileno, publicly provoke each other on social media, staged as a real feud between the two influencers.

  2. 2

Following the feud leads viewers to Lenovo's promo page for the Vibe A7010 (globalinteractive.cl/campana/a7010), which frames the phone launch as the place to settle the dispute and opens a browser-based advergame with no install required.

  3. 3

Players take control of cartoon versions of the two YouTubers and fight a one-on-one street brawl between them, in the style of an arcade fighting game.
