Objective

HerbaLine Facial Spa needed to drive repeat visits and bigger tickets during the Lunar New Year rush, its busiest retention window. Tying spins to spend gave guests a concrete reason to book a treatment during the holiday rather than skip it, and the voucher prizes were built to pull them back for another visit afterward.

Solution

Getting to play starts in the salon, not online: a receipt of RM122 or more on HerbaLine treatments and products unlocks one spin, with an extra spin for every additional RM100 spent, up to five. Guests then open the branded microsite, where a tiger-themed wheel of fortune waits under the "Woohoo Roar-ing" banner. Tapping the wheel sends it spinning until it lands on a single prize, revealed on screen. With multiple spins in hand, a guest can keep tapping through their full allotment in one sitting, walking away with anywhere from one to five vouchers stacked from that single visit.

How it plays

5 steps
  1. 1

Access to the game is earned in the real world: a HerbaLine spa receipt of RM122 or more for treatments and products unlocks one spin, with an extra spin for every additional RM100 spent, up to five spins per visit.

  2. 2

The player opens the campaign's Chinese New Year microsite, themed around the Year of the Tiger, and lands on the "Woohoo Roar-ing" title screen.

  3. 3

The player taps to spin a prize wheel, which turns and lands on a single voucher.

  4. 4

The wheel's sectors mix HerbaLine's own treatment, product, and stocking discounts with vouchers from partner brands — a resort and two restaurants — so the spin's outcome varies between an in-house reward and a third-party one.

  5. 5

The spin produces a redeemable voucher that the player later uses in person, at HerbaLine or with the named partner, subject to the minimum spend printed on that voucher.
