Objective
Ubisoft wanted to close out the year by putting its own game worlds front and center for players and partners over the holidays, folding in franchises like Rayman, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed and even the yet-to-launch Far Cry 6. The push doubled as a storefront driver: the run ended in a discount code, steering that holiday traffic straight into the Ubisoft Store during peak seasonal shopping.
Solution
You land on the promo page and watch a quick roulette of character icons spin and lock onto a random Ubisoft hero — that's who you'll run as. From there it's a one-button side-scroller: your character runs automatically while you just hit space to jump obstacles, racking up points the longer you survive. Golden Ubisoft logos appear mid-run, and grabbing one teleports you into a different franchise's world, swapping the scenery and your character on the fly. Each world you pass through unlocks a collectible wallpaper, and finishing a run hands you a 21% Ubisoft Store discount code — sharp-eyed players can also find a hidden Konami Code easter egg.
- 1
The game opens on Ubisoft's holiday promo page, inviting the player to run through a mashup of Ubisoft franchise worlds for a chance at seasonal rewards.
- 2
Before each run, a roulette of Ubisoft character icons spins and lands on a random hero — Rayman, Eivor from Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Anton Castillo from Far Cry 6, or another — who the player controls for that attempt.
- 3
The run is a one-button 2D side-scroller: the character sprints automatically while the player presses space to jump obstacles, with survival time driving the score.
- 4
Along the route the player collects bonus items, chief among them a golden Ubisoft logo; grabbing it teleports the run into a different Ubisoft franchise world and swaps in that world's character mid-run.
- 5
Each world visited unlocks that franchise's collectible wallpaper — running as Rayman yields Rayman wallpaper, running as Eivor yields Assassin's Creed Valhalla wallpaper — so a single run can bank rewards from several franchises.
- 6
The run ends when the character hits an obstacle, at any point in the level, and the player always receives a reward regardless of how far they got — randomly drawn from wallpapers, screensavers, or a discount promo code.
- 7
Players who enter the classic Konami Code unlock hidden bonus content as an easter egg.
