Objective
Free Fire once again partnered with world-renowned Brazilian DJ and performer DJ Alok — recognized as the No. 1 DJ in Latin America — to create an in-game music festival experience. The campaign aimed to drive engagement by fusing the artist's brand and music directly into core gameplay mechanics, leveraging his fanbase and creating a culturally resonant event tied to Brazilian Carnival traditions.
Solution
Beat Carnival transformed Bloomtown on the Solara map into a neon-lit performance venue featuring a new track 'BULLETPROOF,' produced by DJ Alok in collaboration with CERES and woven into the lobby music and Event Special interface. The Panther served as the event's central icon, and gameplay integrated music and performance through mechanics spanning both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes: Dance Grenades (forcing players into temporary dances), Speaker Trampolines, Soundwave Zones providing movement buffs, Panther Party Trucks roaming all maps, and themed zones spawning giant music notes that trigger dance effects. On Solara, the sky dynamically shifted into a sunset with sound waves pulsing across the Safe Zone, fireworks lit the battlefield, and a giant Alok projection danced along the map's edge. An upgraded DJ Alok Skill Card received enhanced powers, and Alok hosted a global livestream tied to the event. Players unlocked cosmetic rewards—including a Female Bundle grand prize, Skyboard, Scythe, and vehicle skins—through login bonuses and event completion, with a rotating store offering carnival-themed items. The event ran February 20–March 9, 2026, marking Free Fire's first major global event built from Brazilian team and community feedback, with creative direction shaped by Brazilian community teams.
