How it plays

6 steps
  1. 1

Players reach FãCaptcha through Budweiser Brazil's site, pass an over-18 age check, and land on a home page listing four artist rounds — Jão, Pussycat Dolls, Mariah Carey and Lionel Richie — each marked as closed or coming soon along with its host city.

  2. 2

To take part, a player registers with personal details (name, ID number, phone, birth date, email) and accepts the rules, privacy policy and terms of use during a set pre-registration window.

  3. 3

On the designated activation day for their chosen artist, the player opens that artist's quiz within a fixed evening time window; starting the quiz locks in the attempt, with no retry allowed on the same ID.

  4. 4

The core challenge flips a CAPTCHA: instead of picking traffic-light images, the player races the clock to answer six trivia questions about the artist, acting as proof of genuine fandom.

  5. 5

Players are ranked by number of correct answers, then by completion time, then by who started earliest; top finishers win a concert ticket, VIP or standing floor, with a set number of each available per round.

  6. 6

Winners are announced on the site within 30 days, then contacted by phone and email; they must confirm and submit ID within 10 business days or forfeit the prize.

Objective

Budweiser Brasil teamed up with concert promoter 30e to hand out free tickets to its most devoted fans instead of raffling them off at random. Flipping the CAPTCHA format — prove you're human by proving you're a real fan — let the brand and agency Africa Creative pitch the contest as bot- and scalper-proof, rewarding genuine fandom while tying Budweiser closer to live music.

Solution

A fan opens budweiser.com.br/facaptcha, confirms they're 18+ and based in Brazil, and registers with their name, CPF, phone and email. On quiz day for their chosen artist — Jão, Pussycat Dolls, Mariah Carey or Lionel Richie — they log back in any time between 2pm and midnight Brasília time and launch the timed quiz for that round. Six questions about the artist and their music appear one after another, and the fan races the clock to answer as many correctly as possible. Each CPF gets a single attempt per artist, and once the quiz is submitted the result locks in: ranking runs by correct answers first, then by finishing time, then by who started earliest if it's still tied. The fastest, most accurate fans land on the leaderboard and win VIP or floor tickets, or Diamond/Gold seats, with no purchase required.
