Objective
DigiCert, a digital security vendor, needed to establish the inaugural World Quantum Readiness Day as an engaging, authoritative source on a deeply technical subject for an audience of highly-trained security professionals, ruling out static formats like endless PDFs and PowerPoint presentations. The campaign aimed to distill complex quantum computing and cybersecurity content into an interactive, educational experience that aided retention, while building a bank of qualified leads — a network of quantum-curious experts — for future marketing in this emerging field.
Solution
Drimify created a branded crossword puzzle game for the inaugural World Quantum Readiness Day, framed as an intellectual challenge rather than conventional marketing so the technical audience was more willing to complete the attached data collection form. Clues and answers revolved around quantum computing and cybersecurity terminology. Players who completed the game were entered into a raffle for a tabletop escape room, a prize selected to appeal to detail-oriented technical professionals; this prize draw was not used as the event's lead magnet but served to keep already-registered attendees engaged. The game was integrated into the webinar event promotion to simultaneously educate the audience and qualify leads based on completion behavior.
Results
The game generated over 5,000 plays with 488 qualified leads captured. Average session length was 2 minutes per player. The lead database consisted of filtered, high-quality prospects who completed the game—a cohort signaling genuine interest and relevant expertise.
