Objective
D'arc, a club in Timișoara, wanted more than a one-night promotion — it wanted a reason for guests to keep checking back on the club's own site. So the campaign became a standing monthly contest: play once, then return to see whether your score still holds, with free drinks at the club as the prize for topping the month. The line the club put on the case, "Drive safe!", ties the on-screen joyride to the venue's own message about not driving after a night of drinking.
Solution
The game sits right on the club's own web address, no app or social login needed. The player gets behind the wheel of a car and races down a track built out of the bar itself — the counter and furniture of the room they'd normally be standing in, turned into a circuit to drive through. Each run ends in a finish time, which drops onto a running leaderboard for the month. Anyone can come back later, try to beat their own time or someone else's, and the players sitting at the top when the month closes drink for free at the club.
- 1
The player opens the Mini Challenge promo on D'arc's site and is dropped straight into a driving game, tasked with steering a car through a course to post the fastest time.
- 2
The course is not a road but the club's own bar, with the route threading through the bar counter and interior, so the core loop is racing a car through the venue's layout rather than a conventional track.
- 3
Once the run ends, the player can submit their time to that month's leaderboard; the top scorers win drinks on the house.
