Objective

Canadian creative agency rtraction developed an interactive holiday entertainment quiz as a festive brand engagement tool. Users were invited to discover their inner Santa personality through a playful online experience, positioning the campaign as engaging seasonal content during the December holiday period. No specific client brand or business objective was identified in available sources.

Solution

An illustrated one-page website quiz built with jQuery that asked users eight questions to determine their Santa personality type. The quiz featured personalized character results, including variations like a Hipster Santa, rendered in a flat illustration style using the Oswald typeface. The design included responsive layout, interactive elements, and Easter eggs to enhance user engagement. The site was hosted at whosyoursanta.ca.

Results

The campaign was recognized as CSS Design Awards' Website of the Day on December 25, 2013, with a final judges' score of 8.07.
