Objective
Cooper is a top-5 delivery service in Russia that sought to increase user engagement and app adoption through gamified mechanics. The company aimed to foster emotional brand connection by creating an interactive experience that mirrors the real-world courier delivery logistics. The game was designed to drive repeat app usage and integrate gameplay progression with the company's loyalty and transaction systems.
Solution
Kokoc.tech developed an endless runner called "Купер Run" where players guide a courier character through obstacles while collecting coins—similar to Subway Surfers. Players earn virtual coins through gameplay and by purchasing from curated product selections within the app. Coins unlock cosmetic cosmetics including courier apparel and accessories. The game features progressive difficulty (max level 40), adjustable lives (3-9), and daily login rewards with anti-cheat protections. Built from scratch using TypeScript, React, and Python, it integrates via WebView on Android and as a web version on iOS, with API integration to Cooper's transaction system for seamless coin earning from real purchases. The game launched in Cooper's mobile app in February 2026.
Results
The mini-app containing the game achieved a 26% increase in orders compared to the previous month, with a concurrent 20% increase in conversion rate to purchase. The dual-reward system successfully connected gameplay engagement with real-world transactions, demonstrating the effectiveness of embedding commerce mechanics within interactive experiences.
