Objective
In 2020, the parent-child relationship faced a significant challenge amid lockdown restrictions—reconnecting became difficult as families spent more time apart. Oreo aimed to bridge this gap by creating a technology-enabled family experience that modernized a classic parlor game, making it relevant and engaging for teenagers while facilitating meaningful interaction between parents and their children.
Solution
Oreo launched a voice-driven interactive game that adapted the traditional yes-or-no guessing game to contemporary teen language and communication patterns. Players interacted through voice recognition technology, which processed and responded to spoken answers. The experience was designed as a smartphone-based platform to maximize accessibility and family engagement. Created by Publicis One and Digitas Argentina, the campaign launched in Argentina in December 2020.
Results
Performance metrics such as user reach, engagement time, participation numbers, or sales impact were not published. The campaign received significant industry recognition: Silver awards at Círculo de Creatividad Argentina for Gaming and UI/UX experience; Bronze for AI and Site Design; Gold from +Digital IAB for Technology Craft; and Silver at Effie Awards Argentina in the Sweets, Snacks & Desserts category with a Crisis Response Shortlist nomination.
