Safety Runner

Objective

EVRAZ, a global steel and mining company, partnered with Trend Surfers to address workplace safety training for production facility employees. The challenge was to make micro-injury prevention education engaging and practical for factory workers dealing with occupational hazards across multiple industrial locations.

Solution

A mobile-style runner game set in three distinct factory environments: the plant territory, workshop, and cafeteria. Players navigate each location while avoiding obstacles and collecting coins (1 point each), then pass through quiz gates with multiple-choice safety questions (5 points per correct answer). The game features environment-specific hazards and power-ups that mirror real workplace scenarios. Top 20 players earned company prizes, with leaderboard rankings driven by accumulated points from coins and correct answers.
