Objective
Coca-Cola Zero partnered with Paramount Pictures to promote the theatrical release of the Battleship film (May 2012). The campaign aimed to drive brand engagement among target audiences through an entertainment tie-in that leveraged the film's sci-fi action narrative while encouraging participation in Coke's loyalty ecosystem.
Solution
Battle for Everything is a tower defense game where players defend Earth against alien invaders across land, sea, and air environments. Players earn and spend My Coke Rewards loyalty points to unlock additional game levels and upgrade weapons. The game features storyline elements and actual footage from the Battleship film, integrating the movie's narrative into gameplay. The experience was hosted on a dedicated website (battleforeverything.com) powered by Stage3D technology for real-time graphics. Prize pool included Coke Zero coupons, movie tickets, concert tickets, and vacation packages.
