The Creative Types Personality Quiz

Objective

Adobe Create aimed to help people understand their creative personality and unique strengths through an engaging interactive assessment. The project sought to inspire and empower individuals by helping them discover which of eight creative archetypes they embodied, thus enabling them to better harness their own skill sets.

Solution

A visually rich personality quiz featuring 8 distinct creative types (The Adventurer, Maker, Visionary, Innovator, Artist, Producer, Dreamer, and Thinker) represented by custom 3D animated characters. The experience included 15 interactive questions interspersed with video animations that rewarded each user selection. The project combined physical set design with digital character animation, developed in collaboration with psychologist input to ensure accurate personality mapping. Adobe Create partnered with agency Anyways Creative, along with set designers Isabel + Helen, photographers BBDE, and 3D artist Anton Hjertstedt. The quiz was built as an interactive online experience accessible through Adobe's platforms.

Results

The Creative Types quiz won a 2020 Webby Award in the Products & Services category for Advertising. Over 250 character iterations were created for the eight Creative Type characters.
